Cause Première has passed the last six mouths fighting the co-infection TB-HIV because it causes, in Senegal, over 30% among persons living with AIDS. Our fight was around awareness as well as some activities among transmitting within the large public.
The project took place in the slamquarters of Guediawaye and Pikine/Dakar/Senegal
In addition to lectures, interviews and other outreach activities on TB in neighborhoods, we conducted a point of communication as a TV news channel to the 2 STV. We are currently creating a website on which TB is called "fatenayoonoutb" which means I stand in the way TB in Wolof. The major features of this site is that in addition to English and French, this site will be in 07 local languages . It will also be a platform like MSN or I SKYPE to facilitate exchanges between a health worker and a person on the other end. Then an application will be installed on mobile phones for sending and receiving text messages and voice messages.
We participate also to the TB Day withe the Ministry of Prevention and Health
