Tanzanian Street Children January 2011 update

By Leonora Borg | Fundraising & Partnerships Manager

Consortium for Street Children member Caretakers of the Environment International is working with the newly elected Tanzanian government to improve street children's lives by using the International Day for Street Children on April 12th as a hook to re-engage the government with the street child agenda. The International Day for Street Children will create awareness about the epidemic of street children across the world, including Tanzania, to gain greater public and political awareness and allow these marginalised children to be heard.
