Talleres - From the workshops to the future
Dear supporters,
With 2023 coming to an end, we want to thank you for supporting our project Talleres this year.
The professional training project "Talleres" enables young people in Honduras to gain practical experience in various trades such as welding, automotive mechanics, painting, carpentry, electrical engineering, cosmetics and tailoring in a three-year program. The classes are taught by Honduran professionals. We are happy to announce that the demand for the training programme increases every year. Thanks to a great donation, we can keep one of the workshops open for a year!
Young people are willing to participate in workshops, because they are convinced that they are learning very important skills for career preparation, but also capacities that can be useful for their communities. Especially, the girls are excited to learn skills in traditionally male-dominated professions. Talleres encourage participants to challenge traditional gender roles.

Unfortunately, the funding of Talleres is always at risk due to high inflation and an increase in the cost of living in Honduras. Please consider supporting Talleres again, if you can and if you are as passionate about this project as we are! We are always happy to receive further donations.
