Mukuru Slums Development Projects, (MSDP) will empower 150 vulnerable Children and Youth through sports and education support. The 150 Children and Youth are in Mukuru Slums, Nairobi Kenya. This project will engage vulnerable children and youth in Performing Arts and Soccer. These will include both male and female children and youth. This positive engagement will keep the beneficiaries from drugs and substance abuse, early marriages and crime. In addition, they will have a better future.
Children and Youth in Mukuru informal settlements, Nairobi are faced with lack of access to proper education,drug and substance abuse, crime and early marriages. To address this, Mukuru Slums Development Projects, MSDP will support 150 children and youth in Mukuru to develop their talents in sports and Performing Arts as well as continue with their education. By positively engaging the children and Youth through sports and education, we are giving them a better chance for their future.
MSDP will provide opportunities for Talent Development in Soccer and Performing Arts and education support to 150 vulnerable children and Youth. This will be done through purchasing basic school requirements for the children and youth as well as paying school their school fees. In Talent Development, MSDP will offer training in soccer, acrobatics , dance and drama to the beneficiaries. In addition, the beneficiaries will be offered opportunities to showcase their talent in games and shows.
The project will develop talent and educate 150 vulnerable children and youth allowing them to rise above poverty. Moreover, this will give them a better chance for a brighter future.
