We are raising urgent funds to help the women, men and children living in extreme poverty having become refugees. As they journey through Europe, in hope of safety and a new home, refugees face unfathomable hostility and even violence. Knowing this is wrong we work passionately to help ensure each person can access their daily needs for life.
Hostility, and even violence, towards people who are refugees is rising as a direct result of hostile politics. European leaders (including UK) have failed to put in place policies and processes to aid those arriving as refugees to our shores. Instead choosing to enforce a hostile environment which they're unashamedly, and with worrying success, attempting to make populist. As a direct result, people who've already suffered traumatic pasts are left increasingly vulnerable in every way.
We cannot solve the problem, but we can do our best to ensure that those on the move receive our compassion and support. We take action for refugees helping to fill the gaps in humanitarian aid, physical and mental health, and human rights. Through fundraising we get critical support to frontline organisations.
