Our social enterprise – tailoring workshop for women from social vulnerable groups had its first order!
Now, after 3 and a half months after we started we are happy to share with you our successes so far. Our 4 women have produced covers for a local school’s eatery. Milka, Stanka, Raina and Barie spent the last months training how to work with the tailoring machines and were very satisfied with the results. In the beginning they got nervous and frightened whether they would be able to meet the quality requirements but after they started to cut out and sew they grew more and more confident in their ability to fulfill the order.
As Milka says “Finally I can do something beautiful with my own hands – I can sew.” All the women are waiting for future orders and for the chance to prove their own development. They are very thankful to the sponsors of the social enterprise for making their dream come true.
