Dear friends and supporters of our work
Please find attached a selection of photographs from the introduction cookery class in the kitcen of the Children's Home here in Novo Selo. The first class was with all five youngsters. An introduction of knives and how to use them safely. I am a great believer in 'applied learning' and they applied their learning experience by producing a vegetarian Risotto.
This week, the first week in November, we will be producing a classic Minestronne Soup. Why Minestronne Soup? Think of all those different cuts of vegetables, the delicate flavour and balance of stock with ingredients and you will understand why. I hope to take some more pictures of their actievements this week and share with you once more.
I hope you like the first set and the professionalism that they portray.
Our revamped website www.phoenix-inspirebg.org is now available with more work yet to be added.
Thank you for your interest and continued support in our work.
Best wishes and take care
Mick
