Innovative secondary education on our Maya Jaguar campus in remote western Guatemala includes technical training in addition to a rigorous academic curriculum. Upon successful graduation, students keep their computer tablets to continue their training, giving graduates better employment opportunities. Our curriculum also prepares our graduates to qualify for university studies, becoming accredited nurses, teachers, engineers, etc. A total of 100 tablets are needed for school year 2026.
Underserved Maya students and their impoverished families from remote villages in western Guatemala do not otherwise have access to technical skills training.
By keeping their tablets upon graduation from our high school, students bring valuable skills to potential employers. Gainful employment helps lift them and their families out of generational poverty.
With a successful secondary education, enhance with technical skills, graduates become productive citizens in their own country.
