Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in supporting our project providing food to those affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano. Taal has not erupted in recent years and only this time but the resulting damage to lives and properties is tremendous. The problem is being exacerbated by the massive disruption in the lives of people as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Many are getting sick and the hospitals are full already and infection is unabated with the government frorced to ease down restrictions because the economy suffers. This reporting period we continue with our support to vegetable gardening activities by the distribution of vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer. We were able to do this to 210 farmers. Hoping that you will continue your support so that we can reach out to more beneficiaries.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food security to poor and vulnerable villagers affected by the eruption of Taal volcano. We focus our initiative to provide vegetable seed packets so that residents can start their own vegetable gardening activities and in so doing have access to food in the short term. The eruption of Taal is not time-bounded and we don't know when the next one will happen but vegetable production especially the growing of short-term vegetables that can be harvested in a few weeks time is indeed a move in the right direction in achieving healthy residents. This reporting period we are able to provide assistance to 420 households by distributing to them seeds comprising water spinach, eggplants, squash, tomato, ladys fingers and bitter gourd.
Again, thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
