The reports from Syria continue to arrive from our friends and partners in the area of Ghouta. The heavy bombardment persists in the city and has forced women, children, and hospitals into basements.
Eastern Ghouta has been particularly affected, with five hospitals targeted by several airstrikes resulting in multiple deaths of medical personnel and civilians.
Right now we are working on distributing food items (cooked meals and bread) to the most vulnerable. Drugs, medical equipment, and any medical relief is being hindered by the bombings, so we are focusing on the most urgent needs of food and water while we wait for the violence to end so we can bring the essential medical assistance.
Please join us in helping the people of Ghouta!
Thank you,
Leah
