The war in Tigray has orphaned countless children. Mebriata Children's Foundation aims to support 25 of these orphans for a year, providing essentials like food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and schooling. These children will reside with a responsible adult, ensuring proper fund utilization. Our goal is to permanently care for these children and, with enough support, expand our assistance to more children trapped in dire conditions.
The Tigray war has resulted in mass atrocities. Schools, universities, clinics, hospitals, private and government institutions, and private homes in Tigray have been destroyed. The atrocities have subjected the children of Tigray to psychological and physical traumas. This horrific war has resulted in countless children with no parents and no way of sustaining their lives.
Mebriata Children's Foundation directly supports 25 orphans, ensuring they have essentials such as food, clothing, shelter, school supplies, and education for an entire year.
