Edufundi partners with 40 primary schools across South Africa, supporting 450 educators and inspiring 47,000 learners over a threeyear journey of growth and transformation. Our mentorship and leadership programmes equip teachers and school leaders with the skills and confidence to foster joyful, supportive classrooms where primary school learners flourish.
Across South Africa, too many classrooms are places where children sit unengaged and teachers feel unsupported. In many schools, teachers rarely receive sustained, practical guidance on how to manage learning effectively. Traditional training often happens outside the classroom, leaving educators without clear ways to translate theory into daily practice.
Edufundi exists to change this reality by building strong, confident educators and leaders who create consistent, positive learning environments through steady, hands-on support that makes it easier for teachers to build confidence and maintain consistent approaches with their learners. SMT coaching supports leaders to plan effectively, build trust within teams, and drive improvements across the whole school.
Teachers are increasingly confident in planning and delivering lessons that meet diverse learning needs. Learners feel valued and inspired in classrooms where caring, confident teachers build relationships of respect, understanding, and trust. School Management Teams strengthen their instructional leadership, coaching, and support skills, creating a culture of professional growth and collaboration across the school.
