Relief International, with the generous support of our international community and partners, has continued its important work to provide critical assistance to Afghan refugees seeking safety in Iran. Over the years our programs in the region have impacted tens of thousands of lives by assessing families’ most urgent needs and delivering services such as health, education, food security, and sanitation.
One of our recent program priorities has been improving equitable access to safe spaces for Afghan children living in refugee settlements in Iran. Previously, there were very limited opportunities available for children. New child-friendly spaces have been holistically designed and implemented to create inclusive environments and activities where they can grow and thrive.
Over the past year:
We are thrilled to share that 100% of parents have provided positive feedback about their children’s engagement with Relief International’s child-friendly spaces and activities, noting that they have seen improvements in their children’s overall state and wellbeing.
Thank you for your support in helping to make a meaningful difference for so many Afghan children and families who have set out to build brighter lives in Iran.
