Dar Zhor association is an integrative medicine space that provides free support to patients during and after cancer treatment for a period ranging from 6 months to a year. The objective is to shift from a medicine focused on the disease to one centered on the individual and their life project. The activities offered at Dar Zhor do not replace medical treatments. 1. Challenge : Cancer constitutes a major public health issue in Morocco, with a growing number of cases diagnosed each year. In 2023, the country recorded nearly 60,000 cases. Unfortunately, many Moroccans face difficulties in accessing quality care, exacerbating the consequences of the disease. The diagnosis of cancer is often experienced as a tsunami, leading to serious repercussions on the affected individual as well as their family and professional environment.
2. Solution : We propose a personalized support program for each cancer patient who comes to our association. This program includes a care pathway that addresses psychological needs, tailored physical therapies, well-being care, as well as information to help cope with treatment side effects (dermatology, onco-aesthetics, gynecology, etc.). We provide a secure space where patients feel understood, listened to, and supported, thus helping to break isolation and strengthen their resilience. A hund

Long-Term Impact : By strengthening our support program, we aim to enable patients to regain the strength needed to cope with the disease and treatments, resulting in an improvement in their quality of life and a reduction in the psychosocial impact of cancer. By finding serenity in their family life and returning to work more quickly, patients can also reduce the financial impact of the disease, both for themselves and for society as a whole.
