Hi All,
Our STEM project is located in Zimbabwe, we run after school groups, summer camps and provide equipment for local schools to promote STEM subjects to the community with the majority of the focus for girls.
We used all the donations to recently run a science camp for 14 girls in Zimbabwe, working with our female scientist's the event was a huge success, everyone was inspired and really got a handson experience. It was a 4 day event and at the end ofn the event we certainly noticed some young aspiring girl scientist in the making.
It is great in a country where women are not always seen equal even though the laws try to promote it, it is these special events that we are able to fund through donations to our project that light up the future for these girls. This event was a great success and we look forward to the next one!
