Summary

This project has evolved to welcome youth at Alessandra technical institute in northern Uganda that belong to CEFARH foundation uganda enabling youth to develop technical skills that make them self reliance. The youth now receive comprehensive skills, building on scientific knowledge to thrive academically and personally. The program nurtures their commitment to success and supports them in preparing for prosperous futures, whether pursuing higher education or entering the workforce.

Challenge

Many youth in rural areas face challenges in accessing quality formal technical education due to the low standards of the technical school and high level of poverty yet their interest are to get formal technical education . This foundational gaps leave many needing help to pursue technical skills vital for future opportunities. By addressing these deficiencies, we ensure that students develop the necessary academic and technical skills to excel at Alessandra technical institute.

Solution

The institute employs a robust curriculum with collaborative learning methods that encourage students to take ownership of their education. The program shifts learning from rote memorization to active engagement and problem-solving in course fields. Dedicated instructors provide expert guidance and foster an environment of inquiry, enabling students to understand complex concepts, develop technical proficiency, and stay motivated throughout their course journey.
