This year, Instituto Belén is opening a new cycle of technical training opportunities for young people and adults in Concepción and Paraguay’s northern region. Enrollment is now open for 2026 courses designed for people who want to learn a trade, improve their job prospects, or start a small business.
The available courses respond directly to practical skills needed in the local economy, including Forestry Assistance, Industrial Safety Assistance, Basic Residential Electricity, Basic and Intermediate Office Tools, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and Mobile Phone Repair. These short courses, lasting between two and five months, are offered in in-person and virtual formats so that more students can access training that fits their realities.
For many participants, this is more than a course. It is a chance to gain confidence, discover new abilities, and take a concrete step toward a more stable future. No previous experience is required. What matters most is the desire to learn, work, and move forward.
Thanks to your support, more young people and adults in rural Paraguay can access the tools they need to build dignified livelihoods without feeling forced to leave their communities in search of opportunity. Each new enrollment represents a new possibility: a student learning a skill, a family gaining hope, and a community growing stronger from within.
