Title: Interest-Free Loans Distributed to Skill Development Graduates in Muzaffargarh
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation South Punjab distributed interest-free loans to 30 graduates of its Skill Development Center in District Muzaffargarh under the Alkhidmat Islamic Microfinance Program. This initiative aims to empower trained individuals to start or expand small businesses and achieve financial self-reliance.
The program reflects Alkhidmat’s commitment to sustainable livelihoods by combining skills training with ethical, interest-free financial support.
Story / Update
Many skilled individuals in flood-affected and low-income communities struggle to translate their training into income due to a lack of access to capital. Despite acquiring valuable vocational skills, the absence of affordable financing often becomes a major barrier to self-employment.
To bridge this gap, Alkhidmat Foundation South Punjab provided interest-free microfinance loans to 30 graduates of its Skill Development Center in Muzaffargarh. These graduates were trained in various market-relevant skills and are now equipped to launch or strengthen small enterprises such as tailoring, repair services, handicrafts, and home-based businesses.
The loans were distributed under the Alkhidmat Islamic Microfinance Program, ensuring financial support aligned with Islamic principles—free from interest and focused on dignity, responsibility, and long-term sustainability.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, sharing that this support has given them confidence and the means to build a stable future for their families.
