Imagine struggling to breathe after taking just a few steps or climbing a flight of stairs.
For 57-year-old Mahmoud, this was his daily reality. After years of suffering from shortness of breath, his condition became so severe that even the simplest activities left him exhausted and breathless.
Medical examinations revealed that Mahmoud urgently needed a cardiac stent to improve blood flow to his heart.
But for someone unable to afford such a procedure, the hope of receiving treatment seemed out of reach.
Thanks to your generosity, Mahmoud underwent a successful cardiac stent procedure at one of SEMA's hospitals in northern Syria. Today, he is on his way to recovery.
Mahmoud shared that receiving this treatment would have been impossible without SEMA's support.
