Dear Valued Supporter,
Imagine a newborn struggling for every breath, his tiny lungs fighting to keep him alive.
That was baby Laith's reality when he arrived at one of SEMA's hospitals in northern Syria, suffering from severe respiratory distress.
Medical examinations revealed acute pneumonia, a serious condition that threatened his fragile life.
But thanks to your generosity, Laith was not left to fight alone.
Your donations helped provide the respiratory support, essential medications, and specialized medical care he desperately needed.
Under the close supervision of SEMA's medical team, Laith gradually regained his strength, began breathing better, and was finally discharged from the hospital in good health.
Today, baby Laith can breathe freely again — and you helped make that possible.
His story is one of many. Every day, vulnerable newborns in Syria face life-threatening conditions, and their families depend on the generosity of people like you.
Our mission continues because every tiny breath matters, and every newborn deserves a chance to survive.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside baby Laith and countless other newborns.
You helped give Laith the gift of breath. Together, let's give more babies the gift of life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
