Dear Supporter,
For a newborn, every breath matters.
Shortly after birth, baby Tala developed severe respiratory distress — a dangerous condition that can quickly become life-threatening without immediate medical care.
Her tiny body was struggling, and there was no time to lose.
Thanks to your generosity, SEMA’s medical team was able to intervene quickly and provide Tala with the intensive treatment she urgently needed.
Today, we are grateful to share good news:
Tala is doing well and is now waiting for her doctors to confirm that she is ready to go home.
This is what your support makes possible.
Respiratory distress in newborns requires close monitoring, specialized care, and timely treatment. For vulnerable families who cannot afford that care on their own, your contribution can make the difference between fear and relief — and sometimes between life and death.
Thank you for helping SEMA protect newborn babies during the most fragile moments of their lives.
Because of you, Tala’s first days did not end in tragedy. They became the beginning of her journey home.
With heartfelt gratitude,
