That is what happened to Joud, who was brought to SEMA after a severe car accident.
His condition required immediate attention, and our medical team quickly transferred him to intensive care. Further examinations revealed a brain injury, and Joud needed close monitoring and respiratory support.
In those frightening hours, your generosity helped make critical care possible.
Thanks to your previous donations, Joud received the intensive treatment and medical support he needed during one of the most dangerous moments of his life.
Then came the moment everyone had been hoping for.
His ventilator was removed. Joud was breathing on his own again.
Today, his condition is good, and he is waiting for his doctor’s approval to return home to his family.
