Dear Supporter,
Little Wafiq arrived at a SEMA-supported medical facility in northern Syria after falling from a height.
He was suffering from severe internal bleeding.
Tests revealed that his spleen had been torn, and without immediate surgery, his condition could have become fatal within hours.
There was no time to lose.
Our medical team acted quickly, performed the urgent operation, and successfully controlled the bleeding.
Wafiq was then transferred to intensive care, where he began recovering under close medical supervision.
Today, he is safe because the surgical care he needed was available at the most critical moment.
Your support for surgical sponsorships helped make that possible.
It helped provide the examinations, operating room, medical supplies, specialist care, and intensive follow-up that saved his life—completely free of charge to his family.
Thank you for standing behind our medical teams and giving children like Wafiq a chance to survive.
But more children in northern Syria are still arriving with injuries and conditions that cannot wait.
Please continue supporting urgent surgeries so the next child reaches the operating room before it is too late.
With heartfelt gratitude,
