Dear Supporter,
When baby Yaman was born prematurely at just 32 weeks, both he and his mother were in urgent need of specialized medical care.
His mother had searched for help at several healthcare centers, but the comprehensive treatment they required was not readily available. Their condition was critical, and every moment mattered.
Thanks to your generous donations, Yaman and his mother were able to receive immediate care from SEMA’s medical team. Doctors intervened quickly, and both patients spent several critical days in intensive care under close medical supervision.
Today, we are grateful to share that Yaman and his mother are safe and recovering well.
Their survival was made possible by the medical services that your contributions help sustain across northern Syria. Your support gives our teams the ability to respond when premature newborns and vulnerable mothers arrive with nowhere else to turn.
You did more than support medical treatment—you helped keep a mother and her newborn together.
Thank you for standing with families during their most fragile moments and for making lifesaving care possible.
The need remains urgent. Your continued support can help another premature baby receive immediate treatment before it is too late.
With heartfelt gratitude,
