Dear Supporter,
Your generosity has already helped hundreds of newborns receive lifesaving care in northern Syria.
One of them is Baby Ahmad.
Ahmad was born prematurely and, within his first days of life, developed severe respiratory distress. His tiny lungs were struggling, and his condition quickly became life-threatening.
He was rushed to the intensive care unit at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, where our medical team began urgent treatment and continuous monitoring.
Because the right care was available at the right moment, Ahmad survived.
Today, he is breathing more comfortably, growing stronger, and moving closer to returning home with his family.
Your previous donations helped make this possible.
They helped provide the intensive care, medication, equipment, and skilled medical attention Ahmad needed during the most fragile moments of his life.
But Ahmad is not the only newborn fighting to survive.
Every month, premature and critically ill babies arrive in urgent need of specialized care. For many of them, treatment cannot be delayed—not even for a few hours.
Thank you for being part of Ahmad’s recovery and for standing beside vulnerable newborns when their lives are at greatest risk.
Please continue your support so that the next baby who arrives struggling to breathe can also receive a fighting chance.
Because every newborn deserves the chance to take their next breath.
With heartfelt gratitude,
