During a routine visit to displacement camps, SEMA’s community health team identified Tim, an 11-month-old infant suffering from severe malnutrition. His mid-upper arm circumference measured only 113 mm, confirming that he urgently needed care.
Our medical team immediately began a treatment plan that included essential medication, nutritious foods, guidance for his family, and regular follow-up sessions.
With continued care, Tim gradually began to recover. His arm measurement increased to 133 mm, and the improvement became clearly visible in his face, strength, and overall health.
Tim’s recovery is a powerful example of what your generosity makes possible. Because of supporters like you, vulnerable children can be identified early, receive proper treatment, and regain the chance to grow and thrive.
