Dear Supporter,
Baby Obaid arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria with a dangerously high fever and severe breathing difficulties.
Born prematurely, his fragile immune system left him vulnerable to a serious bacterial infection in his blood. His condition required immediate intensive care, continuous monitoring, and urgent medical treatment.
Because of your generous support, Obaid received that care without delay.
Our medical team worked around the clock to stabilize him, support his breathing, and fight the infection threatening his young life. Day by day, he grew stronger.
Today, Obaid is in good health and preparing to leave the hospital in the arms of his family.
His recovery is more than a medical success. It is proof that your compassion reaches newborns at their most vulnerable moments and gives frightened families the chance to replace fear with relief.
Many other premature and critically ill babies are still arriving at SEMA’s hospitals in urgent need of intensive care. Your continued support can help ensure that the next newborn receives the same chance Obaid was given.
Thank you for helping Obaid survive his first difficult chapter. Because of you, his family can now take him home and begin writing the rest of his story together.
With deepest gratitude,
