Dear Supporter,
Your compassion has once again helped protect two lives at a moment of urgent need.
A pregnant woman arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria facing a serious medical emergency. With little time to spare, the medical team acted immediately to provide the critical care she needed and safely deliver her baby, Ali.
But Ali’s first moments of life were far from easy.
Soon after birth, he developed severe respiratory distress and struggled to breathe on his own. His condition required urgent admission to the neonatal intensive care unit, where doctors and nurses began providing specialized treatment and continuous monitoring.
Thanks to your generous contributions, Ali was able to receive the intensive care, respiratory support, medication, and medical attention his fragile body needed.
Today, we are grateful to share that Baby Ali is responding to treatment and moving steadily toward recovery.
For displaced and vulnerable families in northern Syria, the cost of an emergency delivery or neonatal intensive care can be impossible to bear. Your donations ensure that mothers and newborns are not left without help simply because they cannot afford treatment.
Your kindness can be seen in every breath Ali takes, in the relief on his mother’s face, and in the hope that has returned to his family.
Thank you for standing beside Baby Ali and his mother. Your generosity helped turn a frightening beginning into a new chance for life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
