Today, we are grateful to share another story of hope that shows how your generosity is helping save the lives of vulnerable newborns in northern Syria.
Baby Faisal arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals suffering from a serious blood infection. For a newborn, this condition can become life-threatening very quickly. Without immediate treatment, it may lead to severe complications, including permanent neurological damage.
Recognizing the urgency of his condition, the medical team immediately admitted Faisal to the neonatal intensive care unit and began the necessary treatment. Doctors and nurses monitored him closely over the following days, providing medication, continuous observation, and the specialized care his fragile body needed.
Gradually, Faisal began to respond.
His condition improved significantly, and the danger that once threatened his life began to fade. Today, his recovery stands as a powerful reminder of what timely medical care—and compassionate supporters like you—can make possible.
