Dear Supporter,
For many displaced and vulnerable patients in northern Syria, needing surgery can feel like an impossible burden.
The pain is real.
The medical need is urgent.
But the cost of surgery is often far beyond what families can afford.
Thanks to your generous contributions, SEMA continues to provide complex and life-changing surgeries to patients who would otherwise be left without treatment.
Recently, a 50-year-old woman arrived at the orthopedic clinic in one of SEMA’s hospitals after suffering a severe accident that caused a fracture in her left collarbone.
Medical examinations and imaging showed that the fracture had not healed properly and remained unstable, causing continued pain and limiting movement.
Her condition required surgery.
Because she was also living with chronic high blood pressure, our medical team carried out careful evaluations, anesthesia consultations, and all necessary tests before the procedure.
The surgery was completed successfully.
Our doctors stabilized her condition, monitored her vital signs, and ensured that she began her recovery safely.
Your support helped make this possible.
Your donations contributed to the examinations, medical imaging, anesthesia, surgery, medicines, and postoperative care she urgently needed.
Today, she is recovering from an injury that had caused prolonged pain and threatened her ability to move normally.
Thank you for standing with SEMA and helping us provide essential surgical care to people who cannot afford it on their own.
Because of you, pain was treated, a difficult fracture was repaired, and a vulnerable patient was given the chance to heal and regain her independence.
With heartfelt gratitude,
