Dear Supporter,
Your generosity has already helped provide lifesaving care to many newborn babies in northern Syria.
Today, we want to thank you and share the story of Fatima, a newborn girl whose fragile condition reflects the urgent challenges facing many families across the region.
Fatima arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals suffering from repeated vomiting, severe pain, and an inability to breastfeed. Because newborns can deteriorate quickly, our medical team immediately admitted her for intensive care and began the necessary examinations to understand her condition and determine the right treatment.
For her family, those hours were filled with fear and uncertainty.
But because supporters like you help keep our hospitals and neonatal services available, Fatima was able to receive urgent medical attention when she needed it most.
Newborn babies are especially vulnerable to illness, and in northern Syria, limited healthcare services and difficult living conditions make accessing specialized treatment extremely challenging for many families.
Your contributions help ensure that babies like Fatima are not left without care.
They provide medical tests, medications, monitoring, intensive treatment, and the skilled healthcare professionals needed to give vulnerable newborns a chance to recover.
Thank you for being part of this mission and for bringing hope to frightened parents during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Many newborns still need urgent care, and your continued support can help us reach them in time.
Together, we are turning fear into hope, illness into healing, and fragile beginnings into a real chance for life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
