Your generosity helped change the life of Zeinab, an 11-month-old girl in northern Syria who was suffering from severe malnutrition alongside Down syndrome.
When her family reached out for help, SEMA’s medical team visited their home, assessed her condition, and confirmed that she urgently needed specialized nutritional care. A treatment plan tailored to her needs was immediately put in place.
Over the following weeks, Zeinab gradually began to improve. Her strength increased, her condition stabilized, and her family finally began to see signs of hope after a long period of fear and uncertainty.
