Dear Supporter,
Your generosity helped provide urgent surgical care for an 11-year-old child in northern Syria after he suffered a severe fracture in his left thigh.
He arrived at a SEMA-supported hospital after being transferred from another medical facility. Examinations showed that he had a complex, displaced fracture of the thigh bone and required immediate surgical intervention.
After relieving his pain and stabilizing his leg, our medical team completed the necessary tests and prepared him for surgery. During the operation, the fracture was carefully realigned and stabilized using flexible rods and an external fixator to preserve the proper length and position of his leg.
The surgery was successful, and the child was transferred to the recovery ward, where he continues to receive close medical care as he begins his healing journey.
Thank you for helping our hospitals provide specialized treatment to vulnerable children. Your support gave this child relief from pain, protected his mobility, and offered him the chance to recover and return to a normal life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
