Tarek, a 12-year-old boy, was rushed to one of SEMA’s hospitals after falling from a great height onto a solid object. His condition was serious, and there was an immediate concern about internal injuries and bleeding.

Our medical team carried out the necessary examinations and imaging, then admitted Tarek to the intensive care unit to monitor his vital signs and manage the risk of internal bleeding.

After his condition was stabilized, surgeons performed a specialized operation to repair damage to the rectus abdominis muscle and its anterior sheath.

The surgery was successful, and Tarek’s life was saved.

For his family, the cost of such urgent treatment would have been impossible to cover under the difficult conditions in northern Syria. Because of your donations, they did not have to choose between poverty and their child’s survival.

Your support provided the medical tests, intensive care, surgery, and follow-up that Tarek urgently needed. It also gave his family the priceless relief of seeing their child survive and begin his recovery.
