You Helped Save a Young Woman's Life

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Your generosity continues to bring hope and healing to patients facing life-threatening conditions in northern Syria.

Thanks to your support, a 22-year-old woman received a critical surgical intervention at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria—an operation that gave her a new chance at life.

For years, she suffered from serious complications related to esophageal varices and severe enlargement of the spleen. Despite receiving previous treatment, her condition continued to worsen, placing her health and future at significant risk.

As her condition became increasingly critical, a specialized team of surgeons carefully assessed her case and performed a complex operation to address the underlying cause of her illness. The procedure required exceptional expertise, precision, and coordinated medical care.

Alhamdulillah, the surgery was successful.

Today, she is recovering well and looking forward to returning home to her family with renewed hope for the future.

This life-changing outcome was made possible because supporters like you chose to stand alongside patients in their most vulnerable moments.

Your generosity does more than fund medical procedures—it restores hope, relieves suffering, and gives individuals and families a second chance at life.

While we celebrate this success, many other patients across northern Syria are still waiting for urgent surgical care that they cannot afford on their own.

With your continued support, we can provide life-saving surgeries, critical medical treatment, and compassionate care for those who have nowhere else to turn.

Thank you for making stories like this possible.

Please continue your support today and help us bring healing, hope, and life-saving medical care to more patients in need.

With sincere gratitude,
