Your Generosity Helped Her Stand Again!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for your compassion and continued support. Every donation you make helps provide lifesaving medical care to vulnerable patients across northern Syria and gives families hope during their most difficult moments.

Today, we would like to share the story of a 39-year-old woman whose life changed because of your generosity.

Following a serious car accident, she was rushed to one of SEMA's hospitals with devastating injuries. She suffered an open fracture in her left leg and a complex fracture in her right leg, placing her at risk of severe complications and long-term disability. Due to the severity of her condition, she was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit for urgent medical care.

Our medical team acted quickly, performing emergency surgery to stabilize and repair her fractures. Thanks to your support, she received the specialized treatment, surgical care, and close medical monitoring she urgently needed.

We are pleased to share that the surgery was successful. Since the operation, her condition has improved significantly, and she has begun the recovery process. Day by day, she is regaining strength and mobility, moving closer to returning to her normal life and family responsibilities.

Stories like hers are a powerful reminder of the impact your generosity creates. What could have become a life marked by permanent disability has become a journey of healing, recovery, and renewed hope.

Across northern Syria, many vulnerable patients continue to face serious injuries and medical conditions without the means to afford treatment. Your support ensures that those in greatest need can access lifesaving care when every moment matters.

Thank you for helping restore health, dignity, and hope. Your kindness is changing lives and giving patients a second chance at recovery and a brighter future.

With sincere gratitude,
