Your support has opened new horizons for us by enabling the launch of eye surgery services at Idleb Specialized Surgical Hospital in Northern Syria. Thanks to you, patients can now access a range of free, life-changing procedures.
These include major surgeries such as cataract operations (including surgical and congenital “phaco”), correction of horizontal and vertical strabismus (squint), lacrimal duct probing and intubation, lacrimal duct anastomosis, as well as eyelid surgeries.
In addition, we are now able to provide minor surgical procedures to treat a wide range of eye conditions, including pterygium (eye web), chalazion, conjunctival nevus, sebaceous cysts, and lipoma.
Your support has made it possible for many patients to receive critical eye care—and, for some, to see clearly for the very first time.
