Dear Supporters,
We are delighted to share with you the successful opening of Al Durra Garden in Ariha, established by SEMA in collaboration with the local community committee. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments where children can play, learn, and grow.
The garden has been fully rehabilitated with safe, age-appropriate play equipment, improved infrastructure including electricity and sanitation, and engaging awareness materials designed for children. Through interactive drawings and educational brochures, children are also gaining essential knowledge about the dangers of war remnants.
The opening event welcomed 80 children, creating a joyful and vibrant atmosphere that underscored the importance of safe recreational spaces in their daily lives.
Health Impact:
Safe play areas significantly contribute to children’s physical and mental wellbeing. They help reduce anxiety, promote social interaction, encourage physical activity, and support healthy brain development—especially in communities affected by conflict.
Thank You to Our Donors
We extend our sincere gratitude to all our donors and partners. Your generous support has made this project possible and continues to bring safety, hope, and healing to children and their communities.
In Closing,
Together, we are building more than spaces—we are building resilience, protection, and a brighter future for every child.
