Ahdaf Charity Endowment (Ajwad Org) is launching a campaign to support 144 university students through Alemni Program. Lebanon's financial crisis and the impact of war have made higher education increasingly difficult to afford, putting many students at risk of dropping out. Alemni provides support from the first year through graduation, including tuition, transportation, a monthly stipend, and a free, safe study and social space, alongside skills development and employability support.
Lebanon's economic crisis and the impact of war have made higher education increasingly unaffordable. Rising tuition, transportation, and living costs are forcing many university students from low-income families to delay their studies or drop out. Beyond financial barriers, students often lack access to safe study spaces, skills development, and career support. Without sustained support, many risk losing their chance to complete university and build a stable future.
Alemni Program provides comprehensive, long-term support to 144 university students from their first year through graduation. It reduces financial barriers by covering tuition, transportation, and a monthly stipend, while providing a free, safe space for studying and social connection. Students also receive skills development, mentorship, and employability training, helping them remain in university, graduate successfully, and prepare for sustainable careers.
It will help 144 students complete university, gain skills, & access better employment opportunities, reducing dropout and financial vulnerability. Aligned with Ahdaf's vision of sustainable development through education, the program invests in students as future contributors to their families and communities. By building capable, independent graduates & creating a culture of education and opportunity, the project aims to generate lasting social & economic impact beyond the period of support.
