2.0 ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD UNDER REVIEW
2.1 Learning Squared Back-to-School Book Ride Campaign
During the period under review, Learning Squared implemented key activities aimed at supporting education and improving the well-being of beneficiaries in Margibi County, Liberia.
One of the major achievements was the successful implementation of the Learning Squared Back-to-School Book Ride Campaign. As part of this initiative, 200 all-subject reading books were distributed to students at Muja International School. The distribution was intended to provide students with essential learning materials to support their education and improve access to reading resources as they prepared for the academic year.
The successful implementation of this activity contributed to improving students' access to basic educational materials and supporting their learning and academic development. It also strengthened Learning Squared's engagement and collaboration with schools, communities, students, and other beneficiaries.
2.2 Tuition Payment Support for Beneficiaries
Learning Squared successfully extended financial support to help ensure continued access to education for children whose parents were selected to participate in the Microfinance Program.
Recognizing the close link between education and economic empowerment, the organization provided tuition support to help ease the financial burden on participating families and ensure that their children could continue their education. Many of the supported families face economic challenges, making this intervention important in preventing interruptions in their children's education. By covering part of the tuition costs, Learning Squared helped these students remain in school, focus on their studies, and continue building a strong foundation for a brighter future.
The activity also demonstrated strong community engagement and accountability, as all 20 parents were present during the tuition payment support activity. Their participation reflected their commitment to their children's education and their appreciation for the support provided through the program.
