This report covers recent activities implemented under the project as mentioned above, covering the month under review (July 2022- September 2022). Activities were organized in Margibi, Montserrado, and Bong counties in Liberia. This report reflects on the following:

ACHIEVEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD UNDER REVIEW:
2.1 School Engagement Meetings
During the period under review, Learning Squared organized two school engagement meetings in Montserrado and Bong Counties. Our program team visited the Christ Children Home (CCH) in Bong County and the Deacon Weh Institute (DWI) in Montserrado County. The meeting brought together over 45 participants including, teachers, parents, and community leaders. The purpose of these meetings was to discuss the current economic hardship affecting parents who have expressed the challenges concerning supporting education and their livelihoods.
During the meeting with the Christ Children Home in Gbarnga, Bong County, the Principal Mr. Joseph G. Garkpala, welcomed the team to his institution and lauded them for their efforts in supporting parents and students to stay in school in the Country. A working session with parents, teachers, and students on a proposed partnership with the scholarship program. The meeting was interactive, and parents and teachers understood the processes that led to the "Support to Rural Girls Scholarship program" in Liberia.
At the end of the meeting, the registrar of the school, Mr. Galimah P. Jallah, lauded the organization's efforts and reaffirmed the commitment of the school. Also, during the period under review, our team visited the Deacon Weh Institute (DWI) in Bay Community, Central Virginia, Montserrado County, Liberia.
The meeting aimed to provide information to the school authorities, parents, and students on the scholarship program. In addition, the project team facilitated a town hall interactive session with the local county and educational authorities in that location. The meeting brought together over 30 participants, including parents, teachers, and community leaders.
2.2 Preparation for Teachers Training Workshop in Margibi
Learning Squared, in collaboration with Teaching Training Together (TTT), is organizing a 3-day specialized training workshop on "The Role of a Teacher and Personal Productivity Skills" for (25) teachers and school leaders from five schools in Margibi County. The training will take place from 14–16 September 2022. The Training aims to increase the knowledge of teachers and school leaders in classroom management, lesson planning, and presentations.
The training course will be delivered using interactive, learner-centered methods, audio-visual tools, experiential learning, and practical exercises. Participants will be encouraged to use real-life experiences to address personal productivity challenges. The total cost of the training workshop is estimated at (USD 1,500.00) One thousand five hundred dollars. The workshop is funded by Learning Squared Liberia, with technical support from Teaching Training Together (TTT).

Thanks and appreciation to our supporters, donors, GlobalGiving, local communities, and school for the level of commitment shown towards the successful implementation of the project. Learning Squared Liberia is open to working with all children of Liberia, Mostly the under privilege children in rural Liberia.
