Dear contributors,
It has been a succesfull year in which The Red Cross Amsterdam has been able to further develop en innovate on our tools and activities to support refugees. Many pepole were helped through our programme.
However we came in contact with many unaccompanied minor refugees. Trying to rebuild their lives in Amsterdam all by themselves. We found that not only do they need our support in tracing their families and getting integrated in dutch society. Many of them suffer from trauma's and are in need of specific support. In the coming year it is our ambition to expand the volume of our efforts in giving taylor made psychologica-l and buddy support to these minor refugees.
We are happy that to this end 6 new volunteers, 5 psychologists and a social worker, have joint our programme.
