Help wounded soldiers and refugees (Karabakh war)

Dear GlobalGiving team and donors,

We present the report on the use of funds provided by GlobalGiving within the framework of the "Help Wounded Soldiers and Refugees (Karabakh War)" program.

HUJ Armenia used the funds transferred by GlobalGiving to organize the activities of two two-week international volunteer workcamps at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. The volunteers of the camps organized meaningful and interesting leisure activities for children receiving treatment at the center and children with disabilities, as well as carried out activities to improve the center’s premises and protect the surrounding environment. The volunteers cleaned the area of the rehabilitation center from weeds, renovated and painted the children’s playground, and carried out landscaping and improvement works.

The necessary materials and supplies, construction materials, paint, tools, gifts for children, games, toys, and stationery were purchased for carrying out the camp activities.

After the children’s therapeutic sessions, the volunteers organized various recreational activities for them, including drawing, singing, dancing, physical exercises, and games. Together with the children, the volunteers prepared a concert-performance, during which national songs and dances of volunteers from different countries were presented. The concert-performance was presented at the end of the camp.
