Help wounded soldiers and refugees (Karabakh war)

Dear GlobalGiving team and donors,

More than 100000 refugees from Nagorno Karabakh have come to Armenia since September 2023.

Due to the donations from the GlobalGiving HUJ have supported refugees from Nagorno Karabakh by providing 1.5 tons of food packages to the disadvantaged families among them.

Besides, HUJ provided and will continue to provide various and large –scale assistance to the most vulnerable 5 families for now, who left Nagorno Karabakh under the bombing and could not take anything (clothes and other necessary items).

Attached are photos of boxes containing aid. Based on ethical considerations, we haven’t taken photos of the direct delivery process of humanitarian aid to the refugees in the report.

Dear GlobalGiving team and donors,

We are happy to inform that HUJ has completed the replacement of the old doors and windows in the Republican Rehabilitation Center in Yerevan, as well as the overhaul of the medical building of the center; also additional construction work was completed that was not planned; particularly, the entire sewer system of the building, which had fallen into disrepair was repaired.

At the moment, the children being treated and their parents stay in a comfortable, bright room and wards, the quality of their living is very good and the sanitary and hygienic quality meet high standards.

At the entrance to the building there is a sign with an indicator that the repair was carried out at the expense of GlobalGiving and the Voluntary service of Armenia HUJ.
