ASUSTEM ROBOTICS – 4TH QUARTER STEM IMPACT REPORT Project: GPower (Girls in Power Initiative)
Period: October – December 2025
Total Female Beneficiaries Impacted: 500 (Short and Long Term)
Overview
The GPower Project is a flagship initiative by Asustem Robotics, designed to empower girls and young women through hands-on STEM education, digital literacy, and leadership training. The project seeks to bridge the gender gap in technology by providing practical, inclusive, and forward-thinking learning experiences.
During the fourth quarter of 2025, the project continued its mission with remarkable success—impacting over 500 female beneficiaries across Ghana through structured cohort-based training programs and mentorship sessions.
Key Achievements
Beneficiary Reach and Impact
A total of 500 female learners benefited from the GPower Project during this quarter.
Participants gained vital exposure to robotics, coding, renewable energy systems, and digital innovation, empowering them with 21st-century problem-solving skills.
The project also provided mentorship opportunities, inspiring girls to pursue future careers in STEM and technology entrepreneurship.
Cohort-Based Trainings
Conducted STEM training sessions in two major hubs:
Kumasi STEM Hub
Accra STEM Hub
These cohorts allowed participants to engage in hands-on workshops, collaborative innovation challenges, and digital literacy sessions tailored to enhance confidence and technical competence.
Strategic Partnerships
The GPower Project is implemented in strong partnership with the Lenovo Foundation (USA), whose support has been instrumental in providing learning equipment, mentorship resources, and training logistics.
Additionally, Telecel Foundation partnered with Asustem Robotics to expand the impact of digital learning and empower more girls to explore STEM pathways.
Together, these partnerships continue to shape and prepare young women for the future, promoting inclusivity and innovation across communities.
Challenges
The primary challenge faced during this quarter was project financing. While the support from our partners has been invaluable, additional resources are required to sustain and expand program delivery, procure training kits, and reach more underrepresented girls in rural communities.
Call to Action
Asustem Robotics invites corporate organizations, philanthropic foundations, and global donors to collaborate with us in scaling the GPower Project. Your partnership will enable us to:
Reach more girls in underserved areas,
Provide access to modern STEM tools and training, and
Build a sustainable network of female innovators ready to transform Africa’s tech future.
Conclusion
The GPower Project’s impact this quarter highlights the transformative power of investing in girls’ education and innovation. By equipping young women with STEM skills, we are not only unlocking potential but also driving gender equity in technology and engineering. Asustem Robotics remains committed to this mission and looks forward to greater collaborations that will continue shaping a brighter, inclusive future.
