Coding for Girls – First Quarter Report 2025

Introduction
GPower remains committed to empowering young girls through technology by equipping them with essential skills in Website Development, Application Development, and Coding. Our goal for 2025 is to train 2,500 girls, ensuring they gain hands-on experience in various tech modules that will prepare them for future opportunities in the technology sector.

Progress in Q1 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, we have made significant progress toward our goal, successfully training 800 young girls across different regions. These participants have developed foundational skills in coding, built their first websites, and explored the fundamentals of app development. The enthusiasm and determination displayed by the girls have been remarkable, reaffirming the importance of our mission.

Challenges and Support Needed
While we have achieved considerable success, we recognize the need for additional support to scale our impact. To meet our target of 2,500 girls trained by the end of 2025, we require:

• More Donations: Funding is essential to provide resources such as laptops, internet access, and training materials.

• Female STEM Volunteers: We seek experienced women in tech to serve as mentors and trainers, inspiring and guiding these young girls.

• Internship & Mentorship Opportunities: Establishing partnerships with companies and organizations willing to offer internships, job shadowing, and mentorship programs will help these girls transition from learning to real-world application.

Next Steps
As we move into the second quarter, our focus will be on expanding our outreach, improving training content, and strengthening industry partnerships. We are committed to ensuring these young girls not only learn how to code but also gain career-building opportunities that will set them on a path to success in the technology space.
