Support to 200 Orphans children in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is one of the poorest and most densely populated countries in the world. The country is affected by repeated natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods. Due to political unrest, the people of Bangladesh suffer further. Poverty is widespread and the number of abandoned children is high. Village Initiative for Empowerment of Women (VIEW) is a non-profit and women and children focused organisation working since 1998 in Northeast part of Bangladesh. Children in orphanages routinely suffer violence, abuse and neglect. Denied the chance to grow up in a family, they're more likely to become homeless later in life, to have run-ins with the law, and to experience mental and physical health issues. Considering the vulnerabilities and negative consequences we had to develop a project namely “Send a Child to School in Bangladesh to support 200 orphans.

This project has established 10 Non-Formal schools cum library to provide free education in remote areas at Kurigram Sub-District in Bangladesh providing nutritious food & biscuit to 200 malnourished poor children. The project aim to build a school cum library well equipped with necessary books and critical literacy support to 200 poor outreach children. The project plans to fulfilling the nutritional requirements of school-going children and establishing children's right to education.

In this connection we have established 10 Non-formal primary education at vicinities constituted of 20 child/orphan deployed 10 qualified teacher who are locally recruited. The school is operated in rented houses. Necessary books, other logistics, cloths/school dress we have provided from our fund as advance.
