In this world with rising conflicts, Musicians Without Borders is a leader in using music for peacebuilding and social change. We work worldwide with local partners in (former) conflict areas. This year, with rising conflicts and even more needs in our regions with activities, our funding did not fully catch up with the needs in our regions. Music empowers, creates connection, and strengthens empathy. We work to inspire and support musicians everywhere to use the power of music to create positive change in their communities. In collaboration with local musicians and organizations, we bring music to people and places affected by war, armed conflict, and displacement.
When Musicians Without Borders starts a program in a region, we stay there for a sustainable solution. In 2024 we will have our 25 anniversary as a foundation, our first project started back then in the Balkans. We now work in many (former) conflict areas.
