In August 2026, Wonders International supported coffee farming households in Viengkham District, Luang Prabang Province, Laos, by providing coffee seedlings to help improve coffee production and support a transition away from slash-and-burn farming.
A total of 16,743 coffee seedlings were distributed to 36 farming households across six villages. This support helps farmers expand coffee cultivation and build a foundation for more sustainable agricultural livelihoods.
In addition to seedling distribution, the project provided training to strengthen farmers’ coffee-growing skills, including pruning techniques and the use of environmentally friendly farming practices. These activities aim to help farmers improve tree health and productivity while adopting more sustainable methods of cultivation.
Wonders International will continue to support farmers as they develop their coffee farms and strengthen their capacity for sustainable production.
Your support helps farmers build more stable livelihoods through coffee farming while contributing to a more sustainable future for their communities.
Warm regards,
Wonders International Team
