Friends of Agros,
Thank you so much for your continued support of Agros villages like Futuro del Mañana! The village and community continue to make great strides to creating a prosperous village with 100 percent of the villagers participating in some form of income-generating projects.
For the majority of families in Futuro these income-generating activities involve producing agricultural products. Even though production has fallen due to drought in the region, the families persevere. This quarter the families have begun plans to construct water basins in the field that have the least access to water. These water basins will help mitigate the effects of the drought and allow for increases in productivity.
Attached you will find the Winter update for the Agros village of Futuro del Mañana. Or if you prefer, please visit the village page on our website to read the update at: http://www.agros.org/ag/villagepdfs/futurodelmanana.pdf This report measures the success and outcomes of a village's development looking at Community Organization, Land Ownership, Housing and Infrastructure, Community Education and Training, and Sustainable Economic Growth.
Please submit any feedback you might have and let us know if you find these reports valuable, or what other kinds of information you might like to receive from us as relates to this project.
Enjoy, and mil gracias!
